A Finer Crafty-Ness...

Oh what you can do with a tin can lid !  I saved the lids off three tuna cans ( thoroughly washed I hasten to add !!!) Alcohol inked the lids & added the images. I had it in mind to make a wall hanger, but this was my first attempt .... I think I will be saving some more tin lids, & have another go, & it's   good for recycling :)

 ALTERED TEASPOON Required :  One old teaspoon Black Acrylic Paint Paper image Diamond Glaze  Alcohol inks Embellishments First of all I painted the spoon with black acrylic paint. Then dabbed eggshell alcohol ink here & there over the spoon, & a touch of metallic copper alcohol ink. Next I glued the image of the lady on to the spoon. Afterwhich, I coated the whole spoon with Diamond Glaze. Then added the embellishments.

Hand stamped Art Deco Lady, coloured in with promarkers. Well another weekend has gone - & so quickly. Where is the sun ?

A chipboard bird, dipped into UTEE from the melting pot, & then stamped into with cogs & wheels stamp. I really love the effect of stamping into the UTEE.

Spent a crafty afternoon today stamping.... & Out came the melt pot again. I stamped into the melted UTEE with a clock stamp & then brushed them over with some mica powders. 'You'll never know'- Painted the back ground card with acrylic paints. Then Stamped an arch shape, cut out & stuck to the background card. Stamped & cut out the girl image & added some computer generated words, few gems, & flowers.

For the May Day bank holiday craftyness... First of all,I painted a bird cage chipboard template with acrylic paints. Stamped the frame. Then stamped the paper artsy bird image onto to metal foil & cut out & attached to the cage, along with flowers, gems & some threads.
