Went to Ally Pally Sat 25th September, & popped in there again on the Sunday.....came back with my mojos fully revived!!! Always lots of inspiration there & met some lovely people....  looking forward to some more crafting.....:)

    Simply stunning Carole!, love the fishes and beautiful backgrounds. Glad you had a fab time, I went to Ally Pally on saturday and it was soooo busy, still spent a small fortune though lol!

    Gorgeous card and tag, love those fish stamps. I'm off to the Artisan show the weekend and so looking forward to the Paperartsy workshop :) I'll try not to spend too much! :)

Altered box - using crumpled up tin foil

Small box , covered in crumpled up tin foil painted to look (almost) metallic ... Materials used :- Small cardboard box with lid Tin foil crumpled up - enough to cover the box & lid Starbucks Coffee holder - a ripped off  bit enough to go accross the lid of the box. Black Acrylic paint Inka Gold Paint Glue Flower Metal flower - used tattered floral Tim Holtz die Gem stones To make :- Paint crumpled tin foil with black acrylic paint. Sponge some off before it dries so some tin foil shows through. Allow to dry. Adhere peice of coffee holder paper on lid, and then cover the lid with more crumpled tin foil. Press foil down over lid and press down carefully so that the ridges are more emphasised from the  paper underneath. Add inka gold paint haphazardly over the box, Embellish as required.
